If you stay at this Inn you would be within walking distance of OLD FAITHFUL. We stayed in the Snow Lodge cabins located around the other side of Old Faithful but still within walking distance.
Peeps already in wait for the big show put on by the famous OLD FAITHFUL.
OLD FAITHFUL

LOWER YELLOWSTONE FALLS
It wouldn't be Yellowstone without some BUFFALO
I hope you enjoyed my scenes from Yellowstone and to see more wonderful and beautiful scenes go and visit the Holleys at: Scenic Sunday
Thanks to the Holley for hosting Scenic Sunday and thanks for stopping by my blog.
The scenery is beautiful. I went to Yellowstone when I was a teenager. Seeing the wildlife was my favorite part. Your photos really capture how pretty it is there, thanks for sharing. Happy New Year! Denise
ReplyDeleteYellowstone is very well known, and the old faithful continues to be so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteEileen, Yellowstone is indescribable and must be seen to truly be appreciated. These photos bring back so many memories. I stayed in one of those cabins on my honeymoon 30 years ago and haven't been back since. Thanks for sharing these.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenes! I wonder what Yellowstone looks like in the winter...how I would love to be there with my camera now (and a very warm coat!) Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI do plan to visit sometime! I must say that the inn looks awesome!

ReplyDeleteOh WOW beautiful pictures of the scenery
ReplyDeleteMost definitely enjoyed your scenes from Yellowstone, and they have primed me to make another trip there. There is so much we were not able to see on our excursion. Looking at your photos will help me choose the areas to visit next time 'round! =)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are breathtaking, Eileen! Happy New Year!...Christine
ReplyDeleteI will never come to Yellowstone:-(
ReplyDeleteBut your photos make me feel that I have been there.I also saw a fantastic movie on Tv last evening,( about Yellowstone).
Oh I really really really - yes really - want to visit Yellowstone!! Great shots!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place. I haven't heard much about the place but your pictures describe the place so well. I feel I'd like to visit there someday.
ReplyDeletelovely place!
ReplyDeleteLove these Superior Snaps. Yellowstone just plain rocks, whether in summer or in winter. Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat must have been a wonderful sight.
ReplyDeleteOK Eileen -- this is it; you have to go pro!! I enjoyed all the pictures, but I swear I've never seen such good ones of Old Faithful. Those were just the right number of Peeps to give the idea without just making it a mass of humans (which it usually is there when I see it) and the shot of the erupting geyser is as good as I've ever seen. Beautiful. I want to go back!
ReplyDeleteHi Eileen
ReplyDeleteJust googled Old Faithful - amazing! Thanks for sharing yr pics.
Evelyn

ReplyDeleteLovely photos - I really like the one of old faithful.
ReplyDeleteCheers.

ReplyDeleteHi and thanks for commenting on my blog and in so doing, introducing me to your blog!! Stunning photos, I've never been to Yellowstone but it's on my list of places to visit before I die..and seeing your photos has made those plans even more concrete!! Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteLoved the entire post. Your header shot brought out the romantic in me. A trail ride Oh My
ReplyDeleteOld Faithful hasn't changed a bit and the landscape either, I have been there in 1971 at that time there were no foreign tourists at all and no hotels either. I remember there was a restaurant I think but nothing else. My American aunt and uncle took us there. What a wonderful place.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a beautiful part of our country. I've been there many times and loved each and every adventure...the thing is, years and years ago, it was much more pristine...now you have divided highways and a lot of commercialism. Still, beautiful tho.
ReplyDeleteI love your photos! And the Grand Tetons below...amazing!!
Thanks so much for sharing you beautiful photos of Yellowstone. It's been many years since I've had the opportunity to visit and it's reassuring to see recent snaps ;-)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
You've got some wonderful shots of one of my most favorite places in the US. Just love this area and I love your photographs. It brings back some lovely memories of when we were there a couple of years ago and I have enjoyed looking all your photos. We stayed at Lake Jackson Lodge in the Grand Teton. What an amazing area. Thanks for all the great memories that came flooding back when I looked at photos.
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely wonderful photos! One of these days I'd love to be able to visit. :)
ReplyDeleteI've never been to this park, but your photos certainly capture its natural beauty! Thanks for all the visits and happy new year!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I'd love to get to Yellowstone someday. Old Faithful looks fascinating! :o)
ReplyDeleteOn an unrelated note... I love your collages. What software do you use?
