These are some images from our visit to the Highlands Hammock State Park near Sebring Florida. We walked on elevated boardwalk thru the old growth bald cypress swamp.
A Great Egret in the swamp.
The narrow boardwalk, glad there was a handrail.
White Ibis in the swamp
Cypress knees look like boney fingers sticking out of the ground.
We saw a lot of orange trees in this park.
It is always cool the see the Armadillos.
Fungi growing on the tree.
A heart shaped lichen spot.
