Oct 21-22 hubby and I enjoyed a short getaway to Shenandoah Nat'l Park staying for the night in Harrisonburg Virginia. These are some images from our most recent visit to Shenandoah National Park, we wanted to see the fall colors along the Skyline Drive. 

The Limberlost trail is a favorite of mine, the fall colors were looking beautiful.

I believe these two pretties are Pearl Crescent butterflies.

You can take a horse back ride from the Skyland Resort Stables.

The White-tailed Deer are seen off the Skyline Drive and along the trails.

The Dark-eyed Junco can be seen in the park year round.

Nov 1, 2019, road to North Carolina Blue Ridge Parkway, we started with our first stop in Skyline drive, Shenandoah NP and a hike on the Limberlost Trail.

Nov 2, 2019 Part of our road trip was on the Blue Ridge Parkway. 

We stopped at the Blue Ridge Music Center. 

We hiked on the Cascades Trail to the Cascades waterfall.
