This photo reminds me of the smurfs. Do you remember that cartoon? Each person is given a blue plastic rain poncho to put on, you can really be drenched from the mist off the falls.
The photo was taken on the Canadian looking back over at the American side. You can see a viewing tower that was built on the American side.
A view of the river before the falls seen from the Canadian side of the falls.

ReplyDeleteI haven't been to Niagara Falls since November 2008. We didn't go at all last year. We usually make a couple trips up there each year. It's on our want-to-do list for this year, when it gets warmer.
ReplyDeleteYour photos really touches my heart. I feel like going there someday..
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, but the boat looks quite scary!! Have a nice week!
ReplyDeleteAwesome photos! That stairway/walkway is amazing. I've been to the Falls twice in my lifetime but never rode on The Maid of the Mist. I guess that will be for the next visit.
ReplyDeleteI like both the smurfs and the waterfalls. And I love the rainbow too.
ReplyDeleteVery impresive, great shots : have a very nice weekend.

ReplyDeleteMore nice shots of Niagra. Been a long time since I was there and didn't take the boat ride. Does look like a bunch of Smurfs.
ReplyDeleteYour posts always give me places to add to our "must visit" list. (And always make me wish I were a better photographer!)
ReplyDeleteWho or what was on that boat? I'll try enlarging it when I get to the other computer; can't tell what it is on my laptop.
Nice to see different views of Niagara Falls, I've never been there. The last image is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been there yet, but everyone said it's beautiful.

ReplyDeleteIt looks so majestic! That must be a great adventure. I love the second photo. It looks almost dangerous. Great fun with all those blue raincoats.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice memory for me ! I have been there in the 90th, but on the Canadian side. Our raincoats were yellow, I remember. It was the 4th of July and we saw the firework on the American side !
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing photos, like always, the river before the fall in the 5th photo is my favorite.

What an awesome waterfall. It is truly enormous. Your photos really give a great sense of what it looks like from up close and from farther away.
