During one of our Yellowstone-Tetons trip we took a Snake River float trip. The float trip was a calm trip there was no on the white water on this part of the Snake River. This was fine with me even though my hubby many years ago use to be a white water rafting guide on the Cheat River in WV. He likes the exciting fast moving rivers. I thought a calm float trip would be a great way to see wildlife along the river. We did see a large group of White Pelicans and some Bald Eagles in the treetops along the river.
I was expecting to see a moose or elk but no luck there. It was still fun and a great trip we stopped along the way to have a lunch and enjoy the view of the mountains and river.
