Columbus Zoo..my Camera Critters

Beside the safari wildlife park below we visited the Columbus Zoo while on vacation in Ohio. I loved their Australian habitat. The exhibit had one of my favorites the koala bear,

kangaroos and some cool birds.
I was able to feed the Lorikeets. A very cool experience. This is Jungle Jacks (Jack Hanna) world Animals on safari

The Columbus Zoo is a wonderful zoo and well worth a visit if you are in the area.

These are my camera critters and to see more cute critters go and visit Misty Dawn at Camera Critters

Thanks Misty Dawn for hosting Camera Critters and thanks to all thank stopped by to see my critters.

  6. Koalas & Kangaroos - How cool is that! I've heard some say koalas are mean & some say they're nice - So I really don't know, but they look soooo sweeet!
I remember when they had the fires in Australia last year & some firefighters found a koala in the woods - They gave him water & held him while he drank. That poor scared baby, so sad.

  11. Makes me feel at home. I have had all of those animals in my yard at one time or another. I had a cockatoo visit us at a friends house on a recent post and I had a lorikeet outside my study window yesterday, I must do apost of it soon. We don't get Koalas very often now, their numbers are dwindling due to human s building in their habitats. ( By the way we are not supposed to call them bears anymore, because they are not related to the bear family)
    Love your critter pics.

I'd heard the Columbus Zoo was great, but I wasn't able to visit when I was there a few months back. Rats! I never thought I'd want to go back to Columbus.
