Beside the safari wildlife park below we visited the Columbus Zoo while on vacation in Ohio. I loved their Australian habitat. The exhibit had one of my favorites the koala bear,
I was able to feed the Lorikeets. A very cool experience. This is Jungle Jacks (Jack Hanna) world Animals on safari
The Columbus Zoo is a wonderful zoo and well worth a visit if you are in the area.
These are my camera critters and to see more cute critters go and visit Misty Dawn at Camera Critters

ReplyDeleteGreat photos! The koala looks so cute and cuddly. :)
ReplyDeleteKoalas & Kangaroos - How cool is that! I've heard some say koalas are mean & some say they're nice - So I really don't know, but they look soooo sweeet!
ReplyDeleteI remember when they had the fires in Australia last year & some firefighters found a koala in the woods - They gave him water & held him while he drank. That poor scared baby, so sad.
I love the koala!
ReplyDeleteDid you ever ride a carabao?

I love the koala and kangaroos! ~Jeanne
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE the koala!! :)
ReplyDeleteMakes me feel at home. I have had all of those animals in my yard at one time or another. I had a cockatoo visit us at a friends house on a recent post and I had a lorikeet outside my study window yesterday, I must do apost of it soon. We don't get Koalas very often now, their numbers are dwindling due to human s building in their habitats. ( By the way we are not supposed to call them bears anymore, because they are not related to the bear family)
ReplyDeleteLove your critter pics.
Okay I think the koala can't keep up with all the eucalyptus leaves.
ReplyDeleteOMG, I thought you'd gone to Australia instead of Ohio. How wonderful. The Koala is adorable perched comfortably on that branch.
