Unlike Disney's Animal Kingdom where they drive you thru and you do not feed the animals. A warning these animals are looking for food and will stick their heads way into the cars to get the food.
A Giraffe has really long neck and can really reach far places. I managed to take some pic's of the animals that were at the car in front of us and all around us.
These two are checking us out to see of we have food for them.
This guy looks really hungry.
This one is a real cutie.
I had to show this too, my hubby and son are at the top right of this ride.
This is my entry for this week's Camera Critters and to see more wonderful critters go and visit Misty Dawn at Camera Critters
Thanks for stopping by to see my critters. Thanks to Misty Dawn for hosting Camera Critters!
That's getting up close to those critters. The giraffe with the cup is a good shot. My goodness I wouldn't go on a ride like that.
ReplyDeletei wouldn't dare to go on that ride too..
ReplyDeletescary ride!
ReplyDeletethe giraffe is wonderful!! fantastic photo
BFF Judy and I visited a similar place in Virginia. It was fun, but some of the animals were a bit aggressive - BFF's tormenting me with llama cards and toys to this day.
ReplyDeleteThese are great and sooo funny too! Is that giraffe having a slurpy?? ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, especially the giraffe!

Hi Eileen,
ReplyDeleteHah!At first i thought that you are in Africa.
Looks like it was a great time to be out with the animals. They all look pretty tame...except for the two at the top of the ride. LOL
ReplyDeleteSafari park is so interesting! Great photos makes me want to go.
ReplyDelete... "Simplicity is beautiful"
Great photos of some adorable critters. Love the giraffe with a cup. Makes a great header, too.
ReplyDeleteI've been to this park many times. Did you have any buffalo come to the car? Their heads are just massive! Once you drive through that place, you need a car wash before heading home!
ReplyDeleteThat Giraffe is magnificent!
ReplyDeleteI loved your pictures!
purrs and love and Happy CC

Wonderful series of critters (hungry critters!). No way would I be on that ride!
ReplyDeleteWowowow lots of them!
ReplyDeleteMine is up now too
I thought I'll see a long neck giraffe starts from the top of the computer until the bottom, and goes further, when I scroll down..
ReplyDeleteLike the giraffe and the dude with the big rack. I'm amazed they Let, or more like encourage, the feeding of these animals. They come so close. Yet it sure is an incredible experience to get so close. Nice captures.
ReplyDeleteThe ride looks scarrier than the animals.
What fun!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful safari shots though the animals can create havoc sometimes! That ride makes me giddy just looking at it - there is no way I would get on it!
ReplyDeleteHi Eileen, I am not sure if I can do this "drive-thru".
ReplyDeleteBut the animals are beautiful!
Lovely photos of the animals, phew I wouldn't of wanted to go on that ride. Thanks for sharing Eileen:)
ReplyDeleteoh my!!! your photo bring back memories. We've been to that exact Wild Life park a few years ago and my son absolutely enjoy feeding the animals. It was also my first time to see a Giraffe,Buffalo and Zebra. lol!

I wouldn't go on that ride for anything!!!
Carletta’s Captures.
i'd afraid that they would bang the vehicle
ReplyDeleteA smile from SJ =)
Wow! Up close and personal! I hope no one hits the animals with their car...I am surprised that people are not escorted through there! You have captured amazing scenes with the wildlife.
