This is a Skywatch photo from Arches National Park. My header photo is my actual entry for skywatch. My hubby son and I enjoyed walking the trails at Arches. The rock color and formations were wonderful. These are a few pictures I took during our trip there.

ReplyDeleteGreat pictures.
Excellent! If I had to choose a favorite National Park, I think it might be Arches. (It's a hard choice because all have something unique and wonderful.) But I really loved Arches when we went and look forward to when it comes up again on our itinerary. Wonderful captures!

ReplyDeleteAwesome images - ever since reading Desert Solitaire by Edward Abbey I've wanted to visit this National Monument. Your photos have just given me one more reason!

ReplyDelete(you comment on my Heidelberg project, not Skywatch Friday, but if you liked it more it's OK)
Your photos are beautiful and fascinating. They make me feel how small we people are.
ReplyDeleteEileen, these photos are wonderful. It's probably just my imagination (and my interest in weaving) but that looks like the silhouette of an Indian woman seated in front of her loom, down there in the shadow of the arch in your header photo. That makes the photo even more special to me.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog. And a big thank you for traveling and taking photos and sharing them with us.

ReplyDeleteEileen, wonderful shots. Am so glad you shared them. Love the rock formations and the sooooo blue sky. Thanks for stopping by my journal.
