A few weekends ago hubby and I drove to Cape May, NJ. It rained during the 3 and half hour ride but when we arrived at the Cape May Lighthouse park the sky was blue and looking lovely.

Looks like a good place for birding and the egret thinks it a good place for fishing.
ReplyDeleteI see the vastness of a blue sky here. Beautiful eilleen. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I often see the side of a lighthouse that isn't on a large lake or ocean. I like the swampy grass in front of it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo of this red capped light house ... love the reflection and the egret too ;--)

ReplyDeleteI love lighthouses and the grass here with the water is a lovely setting. Cheers- Hope you have a great weekend in store-
Just wanted to say the bird and reflections are so pretty-
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo! I love the glimpse of a reflection of the lighthouse.
ReplyDeleteHey a couple of weekends ago I drove to Cape May N.J. also!! I didn't see the light house though. We were not there for very long. My son graduated from Coast Guard boot camp. It sure is a pretty place but it sure is very far away.

ReplyDeleteI like to see pictures of lighthouses like this one. A great shot.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really pretty scene. I love the lighting. I wonder if you're allowed up in the lighthouse....it's quite tall!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I enlarged the photo, because otherwise I would have missed that beautiful egret. This is a lovely, beautiful, peaceful place that you've captured well in your photo.
