Weekend Reflections

These reflections are from my most recent visit to Atlantic City and the Jersey shore. I was up early for the sunrise (header shot) and we practically had the boardwalk to ourselves. Hard to believe this gorgeous sunrise and we were the only people there to enjoy it.

I think this is what they call the Steel Pier, not what it use to be years ago.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and have a great weekend.

  1. An early bird deserves everything, the boardwalk is only part of them.

  2. Very nice blog. We enjoyed nature and travel as well. Top of the list is Yellowstone.

Not one for a big crowd I'd like the alone time.

  8. It's as if you are looking through a window at the scenes, instead of a reflection of the scenes.

  13. I guess there are not many early risers in Atlantic City, better for us with these beautiful images you shot. I like the view in the first one, but my favorite is the reflection in the last.

  16. Very nice shots. The deserted shoreline and amusement park make it look like something from a post-apocalyptic movie, different from the typical Atlantic City photos.

  21. I have never been to Atlantic City--but I remember, years ago, that it was THE place to go... Don't think it's quite 'the' place anymore---like it was. BUT--I'd still love to go there. I certainly remember seeing pictures of the boardwalk in Atlantic City all of my life.

Thanks for the memories.... Great early morning photos.
    Hugs,

  22. Great reflection shots, can't wait to show my DH the one of Steel Pier. He grew up in Philadelphia, and talks about the shore all the time. The sunrise photo is amazing. You were probably the only person in Atlantic City awake! Kathy

  26. As an early bird, you get to ride the roller coaster all by yourself, no need to queue as in most cases. LOL

    Great reflections.

  29. Aha! So that's how you get those great shots. (I could set my alarm clock for pre-sunrise every day for the rest of my life and still not get the pictures you do, but a woman can dream ;>) Tx for sharing.
