Happy Easter to everyone,, I hope you have a great holiday weekend.
With this post, I wanted to show some pretty flowers and since there are no blooms here I am taking you back to Curacao. These are some scenes from around our hotel in Curacao.
Beautiful trees and blooming bushes surrounded the hotel.
Iguana on the front lawn of the hotel.
Not sure, what flower this is? But, it is beautiful!
This is the open lobby of our hotel in Curacao.
The bougainville plant is one of my favorites, they come in many different colors.
I will end this post with one of the many beautiful sunsets we enjoyed during our vacation.
I hope you enjoyed visiting Curacao with me, it was nice to relive my vacation from last year. Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate your comment.
Thanks for stopping by to see my post and thanks to Fiona for hosting Green Day and to Gemma for hosting Scenic Weekends. I wish everyone a safe and happy weekend.

ReplyDeleteAll beautiful pictures but I'm loving that lizard! Thanks for taking us along!
ReplyDeleteI like every picture. If I can sell a couple of my guns there will be a new camera for me. I am not worried that people are coming to take them away from me before I can do so.
ReplyDeleteThat seems to be a flame of forest tree.
ReplyDeleteThat decorates your Easter.
Happy Easter.

Hi Eileen, yes i enjoyed your trip to Curacao, it actually is just like in our country, scenes i see everyday. That flower you don't know is actually Ceasalpinia pulcherrima. I have a hedge of it in our own yard.
ReplyDeleteThose flowers are simply beautiful! But I especially love that magical lobby view - as if looking at stages of wonder!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing more tranquil, more beautiful, more enticing, than a tropical island! Fabulous pictures....
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking me to Curacao. The plants are exotic and the hotel a dream.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you! So many exotic flowers to see. Hmm, I don't know if I would like to encounter wild iguanas outside the hotel, though. Really relaxing just looking outside the lobby.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a wonderful place for a vacation. Thanks for sharing it with us!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteAmigos, verdadeiros são para sempre, porque
ReplyDeletequando dois corações se unem, formando um só,
DEUS se manifesta ali, através do amor
e o amor é mais forte que a morte,
não importa a distância,
no coração estarão sempre perto.
Evanir.
Great shots Eileen - what a fabulous view from the hotel foyer.
ReplyDeleteI visited Curacao MANY years ago when the ship I was travelling on from Australia to England (Shaw Savill liner "Northern Star") stopped off there. Fascinating place! Thanks for sharing (and for stopping by my blog).
Looks like a happy place !
ReplyDeleteWow, Eileen, beautiful photos! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWow! The flowers are stunning, as is the scenery! We have that orange flower here...it's called a Mexican Bird of Paradise. very different from the Bird of Paradise grown on the islands of the Pacific. There is a Sonoran desert version that is all yellow. We seem them everywhere.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, that sunset is amazing! Had to comment on that too!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I can almost feel the sweet scent of the tropics.
ReplyDeleteLove the Carribean! Thanks for the memories and the beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteDearest Eileen,
