These are some shots I took of last Saturday's sunrise while my hubby was driving. We were on the way to Barnegat Lighthouse State Park in New Jersey. LOL, it is not very easy to take clear photos while the car is moving 65 miles an hour. Oh, and I almost forgot my left hand is still in a splint. So I was trying to take these shots one handed with the car moving. They might not be the sharpest shots but I just love the colors.

The photo below looks like a scene from Hitchcock's movie The Bird's. LOL, I know its awful but I think it is funny.
There was no way this one would come out clear, between the car moving and the birds moving it just wasn't possible.

Beautiful sunrise photos and favourite is the last one.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! My sky shots were taken from our moving car, also. Yours certainly are in better focus than mine!
ReplyDeleteMm, so beautiful sunrise.. the last one is wonderful!)
ReplyDeleteI think all the photos are wonderful, we never would have known you were one handed...moving, yes but only because of the traffic! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThose are great shots even if you were moving fast. Love that bridge and that orange sky!
ReplyDeleteThe header shot stunned me. Great pics.
ReplyDeleteEileen how special is it to witness the "magic hour" either early dawn or at sunset!
ReplyDeleteLoved the first image!!WOW!!
Your header shot in Awesome! And the bird shot is almost creepy. Not easy to take good shots from a fast moving car.
ReplyDeleteThese are all wonderful shots. I agree one does remind me of that scary movie "The Birds". My favorites are the two with the bridges (4th and last one). I love your header!
ReplyDeleteYou have painted the sky, or the sky has painted your journey.
ReplyDeleteI get so excited every time I see the sky started to display colors. Your shots is terrific!!

ReplyDeleteOh, they are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
This is how you know you're addicted to taking pictures ;>)... I've taken my share at 65 mph while Bill drives, but not with a splint on one hand. (I probably would though.)
ReplyDeleteHowever, your self-described not=so-good pix are better than some of us amateurs take when we're really trying.
I wonder what kind of birds those were?
Wonderful sunraise and color. Favorite is nr 1!
ReplyDeleteI love to take picture from the car:-)
Have a happy weekend!
Beautiful shots especially the bridge sunrise.
ReplyDeleteGreat series even with one hand. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteDeslumbrante céu ao sol nascente. Muito lindo!
ReplyDeleteI think your pictures turned out well, given that you were traveling at the time. I agree; the colors are gorgeous. Lovely sunrise pictures!
ReplyDeleteWell done with one hand in moving car. Love your header and "The Birds"
ReplyDeleteWOW the birds, we had a TV news on big birds bombing moving cars. If they didn't see the bird, they would think it was something dropped from a plane.
ReplyDeleteI think you did a fine job of capturing the wonderful colors in the sky. And the birds, too. Sure makes traveling fun taking pictures through the windshield!
ReplyDeleteawesome sunset- that orange is such a great color!
ReplyDeleteSky photos depict the most beautiful thing in this world for me! Yours are just breath taking.
ReplyDeleteYour header photo, the sun looks like a lamp hanging down from those chains.
ReplyDeleteLove all the colour here!
ReplyDeleteAnd *see* you again soon!
Lola:)
Wow, that's excitement in the sky!
ReplyDeleteWell it looks like you did a pretty darn good job!! I do this all the time too. Some come out great, others don't.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day!

ReplyDeleteFantastic! I love the birds photo too - it's classic.
ReplyDeleteyour city Hall looks like my Town Hall. Our cities must have been built at the same era.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine a "shower" caused by the birds:)))
