My entry for
Weekend Reflections and
Scenic Sunday is from my family last trip to the harbor and aqarium. It is of the USS Constellation, the last all sail ship built by the US Navy. The USS Constellation was built in 1854, it was restored and returned to Baltimore in July 2, 1999. You can read more at

ReplyDeleteWish you a nice weekend! Hug from Norway
Lovely! It's hard to pick a favourite, but maybe the last one, with the light shining on that one distant building and the water so calm.
ReplyDeleteBoy do these bring back memories -- when my husband had his Green Card, we lived and worked in Baltimore. I used to eat lunch in a staff room overlooking the harbour.
I hope you have a good weekend and the snowstorm doesn't do too much damage!
Beautiful photos and reflections.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful sail ship, looks like Rickmer's ship in Hamburg...

ReplyDeleteI love any reflection involving water. Great capture my friend. Have a wonderful weekend :)
ReplyDeleteLove the ghostly like reflections of the ship in the water but that window reflection is equally drawing my attention.
ReplyDeleteWonderful reflection shots!
Great series, I like the first one best :)
ReplyDeleteLove the tall ship. The shots are so picturesque, the soft colors on the third shot is so inviting!
ReplyDeleteGreat ship. I love the reflection of the rigging in the windows.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are wonderful and I love the multiple reflections.
ReplyDeleteI thought this ship looked familiar. I stopped and took a few pictures of it on my drive from Texas to Newtown Pa. I keep saying I want to go back to Baltimore but 2 and half hours each way is a long drive.
I love the middle shot, there's so much going on, like in a dance!
ReplyDeleteI also love tall ships. Like the way both the old and new are reflected.
ReplyDeleteA fine ship and an excellent reflection. I really like the last shot.
ReplyDeleteWindow pic is my fav. Interesting shot with details...

ReplyDeleteMarvellous Eileen, tall ships are beauties aren't they, and when you can throw in a reflection... :-)
ReplyDeleteGood photos. The Baltimore waterfront is an awesome place.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I love the old tall ships, they have so much character, and there is nothing better than living on the water! Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Oakland Daily Photo and leaving a comment. Please come by again.
Love these shots! The reflected symmetry is just amazing...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflection, Eileen and thanks for a little history. It was sunny and looked nice in Orlando but I did not go out, was just there for a stopover. It's nice and sunny at 61 degrees in Fort Myers where I am now...Christine
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Eileen. It is amazing how a picture can take you back to so many wonderful memories. When we live in York Pa, we would take the children and go to Inner Harbor, at least once a month. It was our favorite place to go even with my family over Easter holiday, we would go to the Aquarium. I just love the rainforest area in there.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting and leaving your sweet comment.
Come back again soon.
These reflections are gorgeous, Eileen!
ReplyDeleteTHose old ships are GORGEOUS!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful ship Ellen. Poor Baltimore is under so much snow today along with the rest of Maryland! We got over a foot of snow today. Hope you stay safe and warm with all this wintery mix of weather!
ReplyDeleteLove the under the pier shot! And the wet sand does a nice reflection. As for my car, 3 feet of snow and no driving for a week left it clean.
