Ferry ride

I am linking up with Gemma's first Scenic Weekends and Watery Wednesday II.  Please join in on the fun and visit Gemma's blog and to see some pretty waterscapes visit Tricia's Watery Wednesday II.

These shots are from our trip to Washington state this past July.  We were there for my SIL's wedding which took place at her house. We used the Bainbridge-Seattle ferry to leave to get back to the airport. I took some shots of the Seattle skyline and pretty views of the water.

Above we see the where the cruise ships leave. On a previous trip we left on our Alaska Cruise from the Seattle Cruise terminal.

Above is a view of Seattle's skyline and a sailboat looking tiny.

A ferry going back to Bainbridge Island as we were leaving.

A closer view of Seattle and the ferry dock.

One of the many restaurants near the dock. It was a great trip for us first visiting Oregon and then attending my SIL's wedding. I hope you enjoyed the post.

Some Yellowstone Scenes

I am linking up with Gemma's first Scenic Weekends and Watery Wednesday II.  Please join in on the fun and visit Gemma's blog and to see some pretty waterscapes visit Tricia's Watery Wednesday II.

These are ARCHIVED Yellowstone photos. Yellowstone National Park is my favorite national park. I could go there again and again. The scenery and the wildlife are just incredible. Even though these shots are from my archives I love looking at them and I wish I was there.

Grand Prasmatic, one of my favorite Yellowstone Scenes. The colors and the fog coming off the hot spring, along with the pretty sky created a beautiful scene. These amazing colors are created from pigmented bacteria.

Above are some buffalo hanging out near the river and  kicking up some dust. It was cool to be riding along next to one of these massive size buffalo's and hear them snorting and breathing as they walked down the middle of the road.

I could not count how many times we were in buffalo jams, the longest one was over an hour. Waiting for this huge herd of buffalo to move off the road.

Old Faithful being faithful, staying in one of the Snow Lodge cabins we could run out and see the geysers at any time. Hubby walked at on a moonlit night and could hear either wolves or coyotes howling.

I hope you enjoyed my re-run of Yellowstone. Some of my followers might have seen my first post on Yellowstone but my new followers can enjoy Yellowstone for the first time.

More scenic Grand Teton shots from my archives..

This is Colter Bay in the Grand Tetons National Park. We had a lovely view of the bay and the Grand Tetons. There was a thin layer of clouds just hanging near the mountains.
