the reflection of the mountain the lake looks

Mirror Lake is just the right name for it :)

  9. You're getting close to my neck of the woods, but I've never been to Mirror lake, I'll have to look it up. The reflections in it are so silvery and like a mirror. Mt. Hood is looking pretty too, but I can't look at the mountains up here without thinking, "Dormant volcano!" Life in the Ring of Fire. I grew up seeing lots of Indian Paintbrush flowers and also Bluebonnets and scads of other roadside beauties in Texas, but I don't think I've seen them wild up here.

    1. Hello Hannah, I did some research on the Indian Paintbrush and there are 17 native species seen in Oregon. I am always second guessing my id's and names. They were very pretty! Thanks for the comment, enjoy your day and the new week ahead!

  13. Beautiful shots Eileen. I love the way the paintbrush flowers reach skywards and of course the colour. A striking plant. We have something similar in North Queensland but it is bigger and bolder.
