Seeing the Backside for Mosaic Monday

I love Yellowstone and one of the reasons is to see the wildlife.  Sometimes it can be difficult to actually get a photo of one of these animals. I tend to arrive just when the poor critter is tired of the paparazzi and is walking away. I love am an animal lover but not the kind that will chase the animal to get the photo. So I usually end up with the Backside of the animal as it is leaving the scene. So my Mosaic Monday is my Yellowstone critters as I saw them. These are my pictures and I am proud of them. LOL

PLease click on the picture to see a better image.

But like Ansel Adams quote "Sometimes I do get to places just when God's ready to have somebody click the shutter".

  11. If everyone photographed animals from the front, we'd never be able to appreciate all sides of them.

  13. The mosaic is more interesting than artfully "posed" pictures of animals facing the camera. The way you have done them is better - they look "natural" as if you had come up on them in their natural habitat, in the wild.

  26. I loved Yellowstone NP! I was able to get so mamy good animal photos but like you I was very careful not to intrude on them. Your bear shot was really good as they are so elusive. Fun mosaic!

I usually end up with pictures of the back of my cats' heads. They sit with their back to me where they feel safe.
